Positive Prevention HIV/STD Prevention Education
The publication of the American Red Cross curriculum entitled Positive Prevention: HIV/STD Prevention Education for California was developed with input from hundreds of secondary teachers in urban, suburban and rural settings, Positive Prevention is a research-validated curriculum targeting student populations: Middle and Jr. High School Students Level A, High School Students and Alternative Settings Level B, and Special Education or Developmentally-Disabled Adults.
Positive Prevention: HIV/STD Prevention Education for America's Youth is available for schools throughout the country, Level A for Middle School and Jurior High and Level B for High School and Alternative Settings.
Positive Prevention: HIV/STD Prevention Education for Special Populations is designed to provide education for Special Education students in the school setting. Activities have been designed for students with mild to moderate learning disabilities in grades 7-12.
Positive Prevention: HIV/STD Prevention Education for Independent or Home Study has been designed to provide lessons and information that meets the Education Code for those students that are working from home.
